Machine operators, in nearly identical complaints, named the Alton & Southern Railway Co. in two Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA) lawsuits.
Each FELA complaint seeks more than $50,000 each for injuries to their back, neck, spine, shoulders, legs and body. According to the complaints, the trackmen were subjected to numerous repetitive traumas and walking on unstable ballast while repairing tracks.
The alleged injuries caused the men to suffer pain and mental anguish, lost earning potential and medical expenses. For more information on FELA lawsuits, please contact us to confer with a personal injury lawyer.
